Answer #1

Considering the "crime scars" the group of youth that has entered into labor employment during the stable period or upper period of economy benefitted because they had more chances of increment in wages and had permanent employment opportunities. This decreased their chances of entering into crime and making it their means of livelihood.

The groups that may have suffered is the group of youths who have dropped their schooling and entered into labor market during the period of economic recession. They have to work in less wages because of the economic recession and that their employment in labor market is also not permanent because it. This makes them prone to take crime as their means of livelihood and makes them hardcore criminals.
