Describe the dilemma between liberty and authority and discuss a solution to this dilemma.

Each individual has the ability to choose what is right for him/her. There are certain basic principles for living a dutiful life. We may choose and have the freedom to do so. This shows that we are liberal and have the liberty to choose what is best suited for us. At the same time, it is always said that freedom comes with responsibility. How much freedom do we have is thus determined by the type of responsibility we have to fulfill. We may have the liberty to choose our careers, our life partners but at the same time we have to listen to the people with authority. This dilemma is a never ending one where one has to choose cautiously between liberty and authority. This may be resolved only through well thought decisions about the type of liberty we are taking and with whom.
