When it comes to science this development was an important turning point in the history of mankind. This development gave scientific studies and research more validity and importance. It made a change in shift of thinking of common people, though it was a very gradual shift. It helped them to use reason than faith when understanding about the world. Still there are more to discover regarding the world around us, still there are many myths that we believe out of faith which requires questioning and reasoning. Thus, advancement of scientific enquiry is important to understand the world around us and this in turn will help us to understand ourselves in relation to the world.
