Schizophrenia is a mental disorder, which is characteristic of deluionsal and hallucinatory behavior. It is a psychotic disorder as opposed to neurotic disorder and is usually tough to cure and is managed instead.

With respect to genetics, this mental disorder is passed in by generation. If a me ever in the family suffers from schizophrenia, then the next generation has a 10% probability of developing it as well. It is a genetic disorder.

The neurotransmitters that affect schizophrenia are dopamine and glutamate and the structural part of the brains are the two frontal lobes and a portion of the hippocampus.
