Transnational groups are those that have their headquarters in one country, but are registered, operate and have assets or other facilities in at least one other country at one time. Transnational groups are controversial in the sense may not be loyal to all of the countries they operate in, and look to maintain their own interests, which basically comes down to profit-making. They reduce costs by using foreign labor at a cheaper price in developing and under-developed countries and avoid high tariffs involved in importing.
