Describe Primoratz’s defense of capital punishment, including his take on the issues of a right to life, lag time in punishments, and the possibility of error.
Primoratz believes that no one has the right to take the life of others and if one takes the right of another, one loses one’s own right to live. In terms of time lag he argues that capital punishment is not wrong but only the appropriateness and timing could be more appropriate. He agrees with the possible error in judgement which will be irrevocable thus the judges and the legal system can be more diligent in giving verdict.
