Something that I encountered in this class that will make a difference for me in some way, either personally, academically, or professionally includes the information that based on twin studies it has been established that nature i.e. the biology (genes we inherit) and nurture are the two things that influence and shape a person’s behavior. Due to this information, I will make sure that I manage my environment to control my behavior at work and at school. If I plan to get married I will have a genetic counseling done to protect my offsprings from any possible genetic diseases that they may inherit.
