Face to face interview is a method of data collection used by the interviewer to gather information about the candidate with the questionnaire.This method allows  for checking the authenticity and quality of the information collected by the interviewer.It consists of both open ended and closed ended questions.

Non verbal language such as body posture,body languaye,expressions speaks volume about a potential candidate.It helps the interviewer in indepth analysis of information by probing whenever required.This method can be used to cover topics which are sensitive such as social taboos like sex.It is the best method to infer data and information as the respondent is unlikely to manipulate it in face to face interviews.
