One example of social conflict we see is in our education
system.There is an inherent tracking system which is a school's own
version of class stratification,wherein gifted and talented
students coming from elite families,who can give financial aids to
the school, receive advanced skills training to prepare them for
colleges and future careers,and especially for high reputed
universities.
Average performing students or struggling students coming from
lower socio economic status do not receive the same priviledges and
opportunities.If they reach colleges for further education,they are
likely to be at a disadvantage due to student loans.
Most students coming from weaker social classes cannot afford
education in good colleges and school,which indicates the existent
social conflict about affordability of education between elite and
poor classes.This problem exists in a lot of countries.
