Customary arrangement has changed in the culture from arranged marriages to love marraiges.Marriages are no more arrranged by the parents and elders in the family.Initially marriages are arranged by the parents where in they look for the bride and then the boy and girl exchange ideas after the approval has been made by the parents.Most of the decisions are with the parents and children obey the parents taking their advise.In recent times the generation has changed and gender roles play an important path.women are no more confined to the kitchen and houehold chores,they are taking up management roles ,have a say in their well being and marriage decisions.They have a become a earning member which entitles them to have a say in all the decision making process..The man and woman share household duties.Arranged marriages are replaced by love marriages where the boy or girl want their preferences and choice..This is defenitely a change in culture as we call it breakthrough in gender roles in the society.Parents get to accept what the children decide and abide by their decisions.
