Driving miss daisy movie theme;
Daisy Werthan (Jessica Tandy), the protagonist in the movie was an elderly Jewish widow living in Atlanta. She was determined to be independent in her life despite her age. Her son, Boolie (Dan Aykroyd), arranges for an African-American chauffeur, named Hoke Colburn (Morgan Freeman) when she crashes her car. Daisy and Hoke's relationship gets off to a rocky start, initially but as time passes they gradually form a close friendship over the years, one that overcomes racial prejudices and social conventions. Thus the movie tries to convey that contact can bring down the walls of prejudices.
