American presient is the excecutive head of the state whereas Canadian primeinster is the haed of the law making body legslature

American president can enjoy only two terms of eight years whereas no such limitayion for the canadian primemister

American president should  be at the age of 35 years and should have lived in the country for minimum of 14 yaers. there is no such restriction for canadian primeminister

There is abi party system in America for president but Canada has muti party system for election in primeminister

President can make individual decission in Us but canadian primemister need to consult the legislature for taking decissions.
