The term "old folks" conveys images of older person who is happy and jolly nature despite their diminishing capacities.These term is also used in mocking sense to the older adults.

The term "elders" creates an image of relatively younger people ,a age group between 55 and 65.This term is associated to the respect that we give to their wisdom and experiences.
