It is a peculiar type of research. The research subject is that whether male characters or female characters are used more in the cereal boxes.

The participants are not human beings. The participants are the pictures in the cereal box. Many types of cereal boxes are collected from the grocery shops and various types of brand have been collected. The participants include male children, male adults, male adolescent, female children, female adults, female adolescent. The pictures are of various shape and they are distinct in male and female. From picture it is easily available whether they are male or female.

The result shows that male character are used double than female characters in the cereal boxes.
