Humanistic psychology does not focus or concentrate on dysfunction. It helps people in fulfilling their abilities and also help them in maximizing their well-being. As there are three founders of the humanistic approach and they are Abraham Maslow, Clark Moustakas, and Carl Rogers but Abraham Maslow was the father of humanistic psychology. Some of the key features of the humanistic approach are therapies that are client-centered, free will, hierarchical needs, self-concept, etc.
