1. This is an observational study. This is because the researcher wants to observe the behaviour of the participants occurring in real world circumstances.
2. The quasi independent variable in the study is the time spent in looking for the contact.
3. The best test to use on this case a correlational study. The researcher can assess if the time spent looking for the owner has any relationship with whether or not the participants contacting the owner. For this study, the point bisexual correlation can be used.
4. This is a within subjects design.
