What are the four Noble Truths?
The concept of Noble truths was preached by Goutam Buddha who popularised Buddhism. According to Buddha, four noble truths are
1. Suffering-The first truth identifies the presence of suffering.
2. The Cause of Suffering- The second truth seeks to determine the causes of suffering.
3. The End of Suffering-It has dual meaning suggesting either rthe end of suffering in this life on earth, or in spiritual life through achievement of Nirvana.
4. The Path-Prescribes the method for attaining the end of suffering.Buddha prescribed eight fold path for end of suffering.The eight fold path are-Right understanding,RAight thought, Right Speech,Right Action, Right Livelihood,Right effort, Right Mindfulness,and Right Concentration.
