Should we subsidize the rich in our tender public compassion, while resenting the poor?

Answer #1

Partially Yes. By subsidy, it means financial support received from the Government. The rich has to be subsidized, as they contribute to the economy, growth and development. By subsidizing, it will encourage them to contribute more. This does not mean, poor should be left out. As Government, it should be fair and be mindful of doing its share of duties, whether rich or poor. Poor should be subsidized in things, which are important for them, example subsidy in farming, waiver of loans etc.
