Why is the House of Representatives more polarized than the Senate?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Since the House of Representatives is elected by the people directly and the number of voting representatives in the House is fixed by law at 435 which is quite large in comparison to the Senate that is composed of two Senators from each state, serving for six Years it becomes easily polarized because of its size. Therefore they are required to be more stable and calm focusing on senator’s debate new bills and propose amendments to the existing legislature.
