Horace Miner was a graduate from University of Chicago. His area of working was Anthropology. He dedicated his life to studies in the field of anthropology and sociology. He wrote a famous article named as "Body rituals among the Nacirema". Nacirema is a tribe.

I work in an organisation which deals with food grain preservation and its movement to various parts of the country. My working place is generally far away from the city. I am habitual of remaining at my home or nearby my home. I prefer to work from home. Most of the days I become able to manage this situation but whenever I need to go to some far away places then it completely ruins my day.

It fills me with feeling of dejection and something bad start happening to me. Last month, i got an order to dispatch the food grains. I need to go to some 70 Kilometres far away from my home. I woke up early in the morning. It was a cold morning.

I got ready and board the train. I was about to reach my destination. I observed a person with broken arm. He was crying in agony and none was listening to him. Place was new to me so I hesitated a little bit. I managed to go to that person and asked the reason for his injury. He told me that some persons had beaten him and had looted all his money.

I made a call to Ambulance and decided to admit him in hospital. Ambulance came and doctors lifted him inside the van. They asked me to accompany them for the paper work. I agreed and made another call to my manager for providing information about the whole incident.

He also sanctioned me one day leave. Ambulance was on its run. Suddenly it changed its path and stopped in a dark place. Doctors started to threaten me for giving all the money I had. Injured person was also on their side.

It was basically a gang of robbers. They took all my money and laptop. They threw me in jungle. I ran away towards the main road and managed to get a lift. My manager helped me a lot and dropped me to my home. I was surprised and in shock. Now I analyse every situation critically before proceeding into it.
