Corporate philanthropy or CSR should be carried out with the sole purpose of serving people, serving needy. They should see to it that no money is made out of it.

Enough care should also be taken to ensure that quality of the substance is being provided. For eg. If they are providing grocery, then it must be of good quality. If at poor quality is detected it decreases the brand value of the company.

Good organisation or service while doing philanthropic activites also wins people's hearts. Eg.no.of activites done while helping refugees, or people who are escaped from flood.
