It is a widely accepted fact that engineering practices should be concerned to the society. Because engineering practices are in inter alia relationship with society and its impact is unavoidable to the society.
Conduct code of an engineer should be under the ethical codes for the client, employers, and the public because it is the necessary part of the engineering industry.
We that the practice of engineering does not exist outside the domain of societal interests. That is, the practice of engineering has an inherent (and unavoidable) impact on society. Engineering is based upon that relationship with society (inter alia).
Hence, professional responsibility is a necessary part of the process related to engineering.
It is the duty of an engineer to act accordingly to the ethical codes of engineering.
