Fast food companies should pay more taxes to go into obesity research. Explain your thoughts and give work cited please

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Fast food companies should pay more taxes for obesity research as these companies are contributing directly the rising trend of obesity. People’s health are being compromised for the sake of profit-making. Placing higher taxes on fast food companies in order to generate more research will lead to greater awareness among consumers with respect to the actual impact of these products on the human body. In addition, these taxes would make fast food costlier, which would also deter many individuals from purchasing them.
