BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER

                                        Persons who are suffering with Borderline Personality disoder are charecterized by extreme fluctuations in mood and problems with interpersonal relationships. Eventhough interpersonal relationship problems are existed in Paranoid, Schizoid, and Antisocial there is no extreme fluctuations in mood as much as Borderline.

                                        Let’s discuss about the Borderline personality disorder. It is a mental illness that effects both interpersonal relationships and intrapersonal relationships. In other words, person struggles to maintain relations with others and him self. Person might not have good sense about himself. Moods are changes extremely all the time. He don’t allow him to trust others. He scared of being alone.

Definition:

            “It is a serious mental illness charecterized by pervasive instability in moods, interpersonal relationships, self-image and behaviour.

CAUSES OF BORDERLINE PERSONALITY

GENETICS:

            Some studies shows some personality disorders may be come from his/her parents through genetics.

BRAIN ABNORMALITIES:

            Abnormal levels in serotonin may causes this personlity disorder. Certain areas of the brain involved in impulsive and agression.

CHILDHOOD TRUAMA & ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

                    Hurtful events in childhood can generates this mental illness.

AGE

            There is possibility to occur this disease at the age of 20. Because at this age we are all begin maintaining relationships. If those relations are disturbed we will get into borderline. There is a high risk of suicide

OTHER MENTAL ILLNESS

            Mood disorders, anxiety disorder, dissociative disorders and other personality disorders can cause Borderline.

SYMPTOMS

1.Instability of mood, interpersonal relationships, and self image.

2.uncontrolled and inappropriate anger episodes

3.Fear of rejection and being alone

4.Self injury and suicide threats are common

ANTISOCIAL

            Continues abnormal thoughts, feeling ,behaviours siginificantly differ from normal.Disregarding and violation of the rights of the others.

PARANOID

            Persons suffers with pervasive, long standing suspicious and generalized mistrust of others.

1. They are eager thinkers.

2.They are hyperactive

SCHIZOID

It is charecterized by a long standing habit of avoiding involvement in social relationships

2.They hates intimacy
