Answer #1

Sex is the biological make-up of a person whereas gender is the role they choose to play in the society. Sexual orientation is one’s inclination towards someone in terms of sex such as straight, gay, lesbian, bi-sexual etc. It’s about who one is attracted in terms of physical sex. Gender identity is the gender with which one identifies oneself. A person may be male but feels and thinks very much like a female thus behaving and living as a female. Thus we have the LGBTQ community along with the traditional male and female gender classification.
