Are you surprised that the world GAINS 84 million people a year? Should this increase be seen as a sign of human success or human failure?

I am not surprised that the world Gains 84 million people a year. The human population has been increasing exponentially in the past few decades.

This gain is not a success. It's a failure. We generally consider that Development is directly proportional to Man power. This is valid if we are living in the society with unlimited resources which is just a fantasy.

The increasing social issues like lack of resources, poverty and lack of employment opportunities are the consequences of this increase in population. These are inturn leading to increased crime rate, pollution etc. This increase in population is taking us to the end of the world. So this increase in Population is definitely a failure.
