What do the authors mean by a communication climate?

In business situations where legal law suits can be launched on what we say, we should obviously be careful to use supportive climates. Is the same true for our personal relationships? How do your parents speak to you? When you are talking with your friends, what climates do you create? When we use humor, what climates do we create or listen to?

Communication climate means the tone or quality of relation between peers or the individuals who lives or work together. It includes the way of communication and behaviours of the individuals.

Yes, it is ture for our personal relationships too. Parents speaks to the children according to the situation. The parents can be friendly and talk nicely and if circumstances comes they can be abit harsh on me.

when we talk to a friend the communication climate is basically warm and might be positive. But the opposite type of communication climate can be formed i.e cold if the people are not right.

When we listen to humor the climate that is created is that the environment gets positive if the humor is good.
