Primate cities in terms of human geography are the cities that are largest in a certain country or an area, disproportionately larger than any others in the urban heirarchy. These cities tend to be more in number in developing countries since the country's structure per se may not have been well planned or structured in advance. Since the nation's structure is yet to be focused upon and worked upon, they may still be having this issue of hierarchy and discrepency in terms of having certain large ones, as opposed to other small ones within the same nation. In terms of the study of social sciences, the advancement in the socioeconomic development may have a crucial role to play in terms of making a nation more fair and just in distribution of resources.
