Answer #1

When you use the word church it means a place to assemble for religious sermons. It is a biblical word for “assembly.” It can mean any of the following: All Christians, living and dead. The public worship of God or a religious service in such a building. The whole body of Christian believers; Christendom. An individual congregation of Christians meeting in one building; also the building itself. Partly it is Biblical as it literally means “assembly” according to the Bible, but partly it is cultural as this is something practiced by society based on its faith i.e. belief.
