He biomedical model of health communication focuses entirely on biological factors.This model helps physicians to diagnonize the disease and prescribing medication's to treat patients .For example if a person suffers from Diabetes, then by use of biomedical model of health, the physician will perform certain tests and then provide medications to treat diabetes.

Biopsychological model is a tool that psychologists use to examine psychological disorders. This model examines biological, Psychological and social factors affecting to an individual to examine why and how psychological disorders occurs.For example the psychologist may examine biological factors, social factors and psychological factors of an individual and may arrive in a conclusion why that individual is having psychological disorders like depression.

Sociocultural model of health is used to describe awareness of circumstances surrounding individuals and how their behaviours are affected specifically by their surroundings including social and cultural factors. In other words this model examines how social and cultural factors of individuals affect their health behaviours.
