2-Discuss the ethical problems with Milgram’s obedience study; who might the study have harmed and why? Do you think you would have acted differently if you had been one of Milgram’s participants (the teachers)?
Orientation of once social dominance describes the need an individual to have an hierarchy in the social system against egalitarian outlook. The higher the score on this scale, the more is the need for the individual to have the hierarchy and clear demarcation and dominance of one group over the other.
I would have refused to give shocks to the subject as it is against my personal norms and values and I remain in the autonomous state unless given a wise reason on why I should be doing what I am doing. For me wisdom, is the highest authority which an individual should be obedient towards.
