Cognition is those mental processes that helps to acquire knowledge through thought process, experiences, and the sensory process. Learning is acquiring new knowledge, or changing or modifying existing knowledge or behavior. Acquiring knowledge by involving the thought process, by experiences and by the sensory perception,and, any new skill that is learned and any change in existing knowledge or behavior thus, is Cognitive learning.

Cognitive learning emphasis on the cognitive processes that facilitates learning. It focuses on the thought process that is involved in acquisition of new knowledge or change in existing knowledge. Cognitive learning explains how various mental processes helps to change behavior, helps to interact with the environment, and how problem solving behavior develops as a result of this.
