Although stress is the common parameter which keeps the organism alive and alert, excessive stress would impact the organism from functioning effectively. This would mean that managing stress is one of the most important key skills that everyone should develop. Stress is caused by various events, people and environment thus, one needs to identify strategies to tackle it. Managing stress refers to people adopting strategies to either fight or move away from the stressors. It would help the organism to attain homeostasis from the physical and emotional disturbance the stress caused. While many choose to go with positive stress management strategies such as, listening to music, yoga, meditation, sports etc. other choose negative coping strategies that force them to lead a worthless life.
