Psychology of Personality!!!! Does social media hurt our personality?

The question does social media hrts personality is a very debatable issue.I am not sure how it hurt our personality, but definitely it affected our personality. The affects of Social media on personality are as follows-

Self Esteem- Often we use social media to get attention. When we are not getting attention, we are hurt. According to research Studies on this topic, it is found that the more time we spend on social media like facebook comparing ourselves with others, we are getting more depression.

Mental Health- Social media also have some adverse affects on our mental health by creating false sense of belonging and connecting. It also create problems like social anxiety, body dysmorphia and Fear of losing out(FOMO)

Impersonalism- Social media also creates problems of Impersonalism- lack of being able to deal with anger emotions constructively. Hurt feelings, jealousy and competition develops in an individual.

Impatience- Social media greatly responsible for making an individual impatient. It is often observed that whenever we are not receiving prompt response to a text from someone, we immediately gets frustrated
