How do some people increase their likelihood of victimization?

Answer #1

One of the major factors that decides whether one would become a victim is whether they live alone or not. Living alone means literally no one to support, thus becoming a victim. The second thing is one’s place in the society and this place in the social structure make them vulnerable for victimization. Most of the time its people who are minority and those who do not have any status, money and support in the society will become the victims. People who are weak physically and mentally will become victims as strong people would naturally attack them. Women are also prone to victimization, especially by men who try to physically abuse them. Finally, the chances are more that older people will become victims because of their weak physical make-up.
