Statement 1 is false because Weber argued that the society is stratified into different categories such as wealth, race and social status which would mean that those in the higher social class would like to keep the power while those in the lower social order would seek to attain power. However, he didn’t agree with the perspective of Marx that the affluent in the society would dominate those in the social order.
