The clinician would be identifying the symptoms of the patient, there would be two major models related to mental health,which are as follows:

  • The biomedical model had been put forward explains that all diseases could be explained by someone the other form of abnormality. Whereas, the biopsychosocial model states that health occurs in the form of a balance between different sectors such as the social, biological and psychological aspects.
  • The aim is removal of illnesses as there would be analysis of a disease pathology. The aim is changes in behaviors as well as thoughts and emotions of a person, thus, making him free of ailments.
