as hr director will not hire anyone whose shoes are not polished when they come to the interview . is this legal?

I would would disclose to h.r that there aren't any laws that command the organization from deciding on work selections enthusiastic about look if the requirement does not embrace any segregation enthusiastic about sex, race, position, age, religion, shading . Any company needs a decent,well mannered person and rich in his working skills but no law or rule is been there where going with a non polished shoes can let the job seeker to participate in an interview process.
