Laws and regulations are both the solution and the problem for ethical decision making because it is laws which make a person accountable and responsible in a profession. For example, the law of informed consent makes us consider the autonomy of the human trial as important in conducting a clinical trial on a human subject. However at times due to laws, our scientific research may get, delayed. People may get sceptical and not opt to be part of a clinical trial.
