Are boys better in math than girls?

Large amount of research literature on this subject has shown that there is no difference in girls and boys in terms of maths. Other researches have shown very little, if at all any difference between the both genders. One research has shown that there is some difference in maths ability between boys and girls, where boys have fared better than girls, however this research has been don on kindergarten students, which says that when kids start off school, there is pronounced differences between girls and boys. Another research which contradicts the common finds that there are no differences is a research which was done in Australia, this research showed that after six years of schooling girls showed a significant lower achievement when compared with boys.
