If you believe that Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) occurs, what would it take to convince you that it does not? If you do not believe that ESP occurs, what would it take to convince you that it does?

Extrasensory perception is said to occur when instead of the 5 senses a sixth sense is used. It includes telepathy, precognition which is knowledge about the future, awareness of supernatural activity (including ghosts and spirits) and thought transference between individuals. Research about extrasensory perception goes back to the early 19th century when people complained about paranormal activities and being under the control of spirits. I do not believe that extra sensory perception occurs because I think what we perceive is thought the 5 senses only. The sixth sense can be understood as an intuition of calculated guess.

It would take a real life experience with some type of telepathy or supernatural activity to convince me of this. If a close friend or relative goes through this experience maybe it will help me to understand the phenomenon better.
