There are various therapies that can be used some of which are

1. Cognitive behavior therapy which focuses on the affect , behavior and cognition related to eating disoder . Its aim is to identify the maladaptive ways of thinking, feeling and behaving and then reducing their intensity.

2. Group cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on engahingethe client with other professionals and people who suffer from eating disorders in a group setting to share their experiences, feel free and know that their symptonssare common to those of others

They can also be educated about the impact of nutrients and healthy diet on our mind and body so that they can choose a healthy diet for themselves.

Medications such as antidepressants can also be helpful to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety involved.
