Wht is globalization and how did it effect the United States in the 1990s

Globalization is a concept that explains the technological, political, cultural and more specifically cultural exchanges between nations. In 1981, when the cold war between Soviet and US ended, it paved more ways to interconnect more countries. Goods, services and human resources across the globe and making it a village. More economic zones were created for free flow of labour and materials. NAFTA was part of this economic zone including the US, Mexico and Canada. It brought more cheap labour and made more raw materials available. It brought more employment opportunities, made more products available, brought more cultural diversity and made the technologies of the developed countries available in all the developing and underdeveloped countries. Globalization also had some disadvantages such as terrorism, cultural clashes, racial discrimination etc.
