Discuss to what extent children who are exposed to agressive models of behavior are more likely to show imitative aggressive behavior themselves? Even if violent behaviors do not immediately manifest, can a case be made that those exposed to the violent action are now able to replicate those actions? Have they indeed learned how to be violent through thier exposure to violence in a safe environment such as engaging in video game play?Are they beocming de[sensitized to violence? Can the popularity of violent television shows-movies-games-music -music videos cited as reason for a supposed breakdown in society and an increased tendency towards violence?

Many studies have shown that violent video games can increase aggressive thought and behviors both in the long and short term. There are various factors involved for a person to engage in violence.There is also a correlation between the playing violent video games and aggresive behavior. But aslo there is no clearn evidene regarding violent games and deliquent behaviour occcuring the future. Even though violent movies may be a contributing factor, they may not have much impact compared to other factors. Children who were abused are likely to show aggressive behaviors when they are older. Being born in dysfunctional family or to a teen mother may also pose a risk factor. Not being loved by parents and rejected at school could also be other risk factors for teen violence. Moreover, In a recent study, it was found that watching violent movies did not make people aggressive.
