In any research, the researcher plays an important role. It is natural that researcher may have their own undertsandings preconceptions based on their knowledge or previous experiences, and implicit and explicit biases regarding the topic. Inorder to set these aside the researcher must search for their own biases and should be aware of them to avoid them, have proper understanding about the topic, and should acquire adequate knowledge about the same. This will make sure a qualitative research that is free from preconceptions, faulty undertsandings and biases from the researchers side.
