Both try to signify and coapatlize on already existent brands in order to give an impetus and boost to their market value. The brands aren't high reach brands and neither have been in the market for a long time, but they have tried to show themselves as Veblen goods.

Veblen goods are those goods which either highly priced or having a brand value are known to be as prestige goods, and appeal to the masses on the basis of not product quality but the status and social symbol that they are associated with.

People purchase these goods not out of need or utility, but usually for propeeling their own self status above within society.
