A story I found very inspiring was that of Cheryl Strayed, portrayed in the movie ‘Wild’. With the death of her beloved mother and the dissolution of her marriage, Cheryl heads into self?destructive behavior. She almost loses all hope but she makes a decision to halt her downward spiral and put her life back together again. Almost impulsively, Cheryl decides to hike more than a 1000 miles alone in the Pacific Crest Trail, despite having no previous hiking experience. With this journey, she is able to put her life back together and come to terms with her grief.
