Research Question: How does the increases of work load and family issue contribute to the increased of stress level in some men and women?

Hypothesis: If increases of work load and family issue is a made factor men and women stress because men and women don’t know how to balance work and family.

Constant Variable(s): men and women

All these variables can be measured using a self-report questionnaire.

  • 'Work load' can be defined in terms of the score the participant obtained on the NASA Task Load Index (TLX). The NASA TLX is a self-assessment technique in which participants must subjectively rate their workload along six different workload sub-scales.
  • 'Family Issues' can be measured as the score obtained from the Family Questionnaire. The questionnaire assesses family characteristics are responsiveness, communication, organization, social network, and partner relationship.
  • 'Stress' can be defined as the score obtained on the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). It is a measure of the degree to which situations in one's life are appraised as stressful.
