1. In a traditional family, there
would be more people where the children will learn sharing and
unity which will be missing in the nuclear family.
2. Children will have elders in the traditional families to guide
them and discipline them which will be missing in the nuclear
family.
3. There will be more people to support one, when one is
emotionally down which will not be available in nuclear
family.
4. More people will be working thus bringing more income or
balanced income when loses one's job whereas in nuclear family one
or two will be working and if they lose their jobs the family will
undergo financial difficulties.
5. Children will learn to communicate effectively and learn diverse
opinions which will help them when they go to the school which will
be missing in the nuclear families.
6. Nuclear families have lots of privacy because they live alone
whereas in traditional families it would be missing.
7. Decision making is easier on nuclear families whereas in
traditional families everyone needs to agree before a decision is
taken.
8. Nuclear families can spend as they like without getting anyone's
consent whereas traditional families need to discuss with the
elders of the family.
9. Children develop consistent behaviours in nuclear families
whereas in traditional families children will have multiple
personalities as models which will be confusing.
10. Nuclear families provide more financial security or back up the
will have one child or two but in traditional families, more
children will be there and the assets should be shared among
many.
