Discuss your experiences and knowledge in the differences in behaviors, attitudes, expectations regarding love and other considerations in intimate relationships. Do you think you will marry? Why or why not? (200-300 WORDS)
The first thing one experiences in a
relationship is physical attraction. Although it's the old school
of thought, it's still valid today. In the initial stage people are
driven by the physical attraction and tries to maintain the
relationship thus appreciating all the differences but as time
moves, whatever differences they appreciated becomes the fighting
point because by this time their interest in the physical body
would have disappeared. The next stage is where they come into
contact with their behaviours and attitudes while living together
or because they spent more time together. What was once fun becomes
irritating. When people are in love they keep asking their partners
to talk and enjoy their conversation but as time pass it would
become very irritating and they would say could you please be
silent for a while.
There are two things that are most important to any intimate
relationship, money and sex. When two people are able to satisfy
each other in sex, the chances are more that they would stick
together. The second thing is money and if they have enough money
to live together, the chances are more that they continue their
relationship. When children come, they would still like a threat to
the intimate relationship because the couple will have less time to
spend together. It's all about managing and balancing sex, money,
children and work that would decide whether an intimate
relationship will last or not.
I will definitely marry because it's the process and I would like
to see myself time and again on this earth through my children.
